NEW ORLEANS, La. - Wilberforce University junior Daiquan Coach was named second team All-HBCUAC in a vote of conference coaches, the league announced today (Sunday, February 22, 2026). 

Coach finished fifth in the HBCUAC in scoring with 16.9 points per game on 50.6 percent shooting – which was good for 10th in the conference. He led the team in scoring 14 times, including six of the last eight games.  

The guard reached double figures in 21 of the team's 22 games, including scoring at least 20 points in eight games.  

Coach was named Newcomer of the Week after opening the season with back-to-back 20-plus point games. He was also named Newcomer and Offensive Player of the Week with back-to-back 20-point games in the first week of February.  

Wilberforce ended the regular season 10-12 overall, 3-3 HBCUAC, and will be the East's fourth seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
